Fei and I went on a DIY tour of Italy in May 2016. We planned to visit Milan, Lake Como, Siena, Lucca, Chianti, Cinque Terre and Rome.
Due to an unexpected Tour of Italia cycling event in Chianti area on May 15, all roads to the Chianti villages were closed, we had to change our itinerary to visit Lucca first and then go back to visit Chianti villages on May 17. In addition, we had difficulties of recognizing attractions during the Rome Renaissance Walking Tour on May 20. So, we changed the plan and did the touring of Colosseum and Palatine Hill on May 22. The actual itinerary was as the following:

May 10, 2016 - Arrived in Milan, and visited Milan’s Fashion Quarter
May 11, 2016 - Lake Como and Bellagio
